Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking an Inbound Operations Manager to lead inbound activities at our distribution center. You will oversee scheduling, unloading, receiving and stocking, while fostering a culture of engagement and problem-solving among teammates.

You will drive safety compliance, train staff, and collaborate with DC leadership to optimize productivity and cost-efficiency across inbound processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience within a distribution center or similar environment.
• 1+ years' proven experience in a managerial role or leading teams.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to upholding integrity and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with General Manager in implementing operational strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Manages inbound operations by setting performance expectations and monitoring productivity.
• Leads inbound operations with scheduling, unloading, receiving dock, and safety compliance.
• Promotes safety rules and a safe working environment for employees.
• Trains and develops employees to maintain high efficiency and fill gaps as needed.
• Handles inquiries, resolves escalations, and encourages ownership of customer issues.
• Works cross-functionally with DC management to resolve inbound receiving errors.
• Protects assets and ensures receipts, proper operation of equipment, and security.
• Monitors budget and cost-saving initiatives, pursuing process improvements.
