Job summary

Michael & Son Services in Richmond, VA is seeking an outbound sales and follow-up representative to engage homeowners, review open quotes, and close sales for HVAC, plumbing and electrical work. You will not cold-call; you will be guiding customers who already met our team toward a scheduled service appointment.

In this full-time role, you’ll perform proactive follow-ups, qualify needs, present solutions, and coordinate with dispatch to finalize bookings, with training on our systems provided.

Qualifications

• Phone-based sales experience with a proven track record.
• Strong customer service mindset and active listening.
• Ability to overcome objections and drive to a close.
• High school diploma or GED; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Drive follow-up sales by contacting existing clients on open estimates.
• Use consultative questioning to uncover needs and present value.
• Build rapport, listen actively, and act as trusted advisor.
• Cross-sell and identify additional service opportunities.
• Schedule and coordinate with dispatch to finalize calls.
• Maintain accurate records and manage pipeline follow-ups.
