American Electric Power (AEP) seeks a Planner to optimize outage and project planning, aligning long- and short-range maintenance, capital, and staffing plans with plant needs. You will coordinate resources, prepare plans, and analyze cost and duration using work management systems to improve efficiency and reliability.

The role requires technical education or equivalent experience, with advancement across Planner levels.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a technical related field or two years of maintenance related experience.
Bachelor of Science degree in a technical related field or seven years of maintenance related experience (Senior/Principal).
Must have ability to read and understand technical documentation and write technical reports; strong organizational skills.

Responsabilités

Assist in developing plans to improve operating and maintenance outage efficiency.
Coordinate input for cost and duration; assist budget/forecasts.
Plan all work activities per company policies and standards.
Coordinate plans with personnel to identify estimates; participate in outage/project meetings.
Review work orders for accuracy.
Prepare and analyze reports using work management systems and Business Objects.
Assist with workload and supervision to meet schedules.
