American Electric Power (AEP) is hiring a Project Scheduler to coordinate project activities, develop complex schedules, and support PMs on large infrastructure initiatives in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities include creating detailed schedules, mentoring junior staff, and providing timely schedule updates to senior management while adhering to AEP standards and governance.

Qualifications

• Education must be in a related field from an accredited university or college (Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or Project Management).
• HS diploma: 7 years' qualified experience; Associate's: 5 years; Bachelor's: 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Define activities, durations, sequences, and logic to develop the scope of work plan and milestones.
• Develop integrated system schedules with resource loading and leveling.
• Mentor junior schedulers and lead schedule review meetings with stakeholders.
• Provide schedule analysis updates and alert on risks delaying milestones.
• Communicate schedule status and ensure adherence to AEP project management standards.
