Job summary

AEP Service Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex projects in a matrix environment. You will direct planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closing activities with a focus on safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate schedules, budgets, and resources while communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and adherence to project management standards across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field as required.
• Three (3) years qualified experience for the bachelor track; two-year degree with five (5) years; high school with seven (7) years.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and manage assigned project activities with expert proficiency.
• Use Waterfall and Agile methods for project management.
• Ensure safety through AEP System Safety Process and Zero Harm focus.
• Manage project plan, schedule, budget, tools and staff; reallocate funding as needed.
• Communicate project/outage details and status; lead meetings and provide reports.
