Jefferson University Physicians is seeking a Patient Services Associate II to enhance the patient experience by processing arrivals and departures and handling pre-certifications for procedures. You will verify demographics and insurance, assist with referrals, and maintain a courteous, efficient flow of patients to examination rooms.

The role requires a HS Diploma or equivalent, with preference for customer service experience in healthcare.

Formación

• Customer service and/or patient-facing healthcare experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with check-in/check-out and scheduling is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Process check in/check out and scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
• Obtain pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures.
• Maintain efficient flow of practice and escalate concerns as needed.
• Greet patients/visitors professionally in person or by phone.
• Ensure HIPAA and compliance with regulatory standards.
