Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service and/or patient-facing healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with scheduling and insurance verification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process check-in and check-out and schedule appointments via EPIC.
• Obtain pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures.
• Verify insurance, referrals, and patient demographics.
• Greet patients and visitors professionally in person or by phone.
• Escalate patient or provider concerns as appropriate.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements and regulatory standards.
