Job summary

RWE Americas, a US-based energy company, seeks an experienced Security Architecture Engineer II to own the OT security platform across wind, solar, and storage sites in 27 states. You will define reference architectures, baselines, and edge-to-enterprise integration for OT security controls.

The role requires at least 5 years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in OT/ICS/SCADA, strong collaboration with operations, and a focus on risk-based vulnerability management and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related fields
• Minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity with 3+ years OT/ICS/SCADA experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams
• Willingness to learn about renewables and company needs

Responsibilities

• Own OT security architecture and platform ownership across fleet
• Define secure baselines and reference architectures for OT projects
• Onboard OT logs and telemetry into enterprise monitoring platforms
• Perform OT risk assessments using MITRE ATT&CK for ICS
• Lead incident response investigations for OT security events
• Define least-privilege roles and secure remote access
• Embed OT security requirements in projects, contracts, and procurements
• Partner with OT operations, asset management, and SOC
• Create runbooks and provide mentorship and training
• Support audits and compliance activities (NERC CIP, NIST, ISA/IEC 62443)
