Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Security Architecture Engineer II to own the OT security architecture and the platform stack protecting 160+ wind, solar, and battery storage sites across 27 states. You will design defensible architectures, set reference baselines, and act as the design authority for OT security.

In this office-based role with travel, you will collaborate with OT operations, asset management, and SOC to enable secure, scalable deployment while maintaining safety and availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields, or equivalent security engineering experience.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, networking, or control systems engineering; 3+ years OT/ICS/SCADA.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to field locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Own OT security architecture and the platform stack for fleet-wide protection.
• Maintain OT security standards and secure baselines (ISA/IEC 62443, CIS).
• Onboard OT logs and telemetry; develop OT-focused detection content with SOC.
• Perform OT risk assessments and manage vulnerability remediation with plant teams.
• Lead incident investigations, hunting, and containment planning with safety in mind.
• Define least-privilege roles and secure remote access for engineers/vendors.
