Job summary

G6 Cyber Solutions is seeking an RTS/SCADA Engineer to support a DoD OT/ICS environment, blending real hardware with virtual components. You will design, configure, and secure systems, solving cross‑domain problems across hardware, software, and networks on a small, fast team.

You will work with government, industry, and utility partners; travel up to about 25% to partner sites and ranges to validate implementations and test mitigations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ICs/SCADA, OT networking, or critical infrastructure security.
• Proficiency programming in C, C++, Python or Java; hardware and software integration.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and CAD diagrams for OT systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain OT/ICS environments mirroring critical infrastructure.
• Research threats to PLCs, RTUs, IEDs, and SCADA/HMI systems; test mitigations.
• Plan tests, collect data, document approach, results, and recommendations.
• Prototype OT/ICS capabilities and integrate into existing environments.
• Collaborate with government, industry, and utility partners on configuration and testing.
• Travel up to 25% to partner sites and ranges.
