Job summary

National Grid is seeking an OT Security Engineer to design and deliver security solutions for critical OT assets. You will work within the US OT Security Team on projects spanning gas, electric, and renewables, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant engineering or CS degree, with hands-on IT and OT security experience, including ICS/SCADA, NERC CIP, and IEC 62443 familiarity. Hybrid work in MA/NY area with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Applied practical experience managing IT infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches, servers, workstations).
• Applied practical experience with IC, SCADA, and OT environments.
• Strong understanding of cyber security controls for OT environments.
• Experience with IEC 62443, NERC CIP, or IC/OT standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and deliver robust cyber security solutions for OT assets.
• Design and test cyber security products including architecture reviews and vendor engagements.
• Apply risk assessments within ICS/SCADA/OT environments.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure delivery of customer requirements.
• Provide ongoing support for delivered solutions throughout the lifecycle.
• Travel up to 25% regionally as needed.
