Job summary

CNF Technologies seeks an IC/SCADA Engineer to design, test, and support OT/ICS/SCADA environments in their San Antonio lab. You will work on cyber-physical systems, deploy and test hardware and software, and analyze vulnerabilities to help protect critical infrastructure.

The role requires experience with C/C++, PLC/RTU/IED, and OT networks, plus strong collaboration with partners and mission teams. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering with IC/SCADA or robotics specialization; Master preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience or academic research in IC/SCADA/OT domains.
• Security clearance not required but US citizenship and clearance eligibility.
• Location: CNF HQ, San Antonio TX; travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in lab and test ranges to identify threats to OT/ICS/SCADA systems.
• Develop physical and virtual test ranges to model real-world OT environments.
• Document test approach, plan, and results; analyze data and report findings.
• Collaborate with partners to test, configure, and validate IC/SCADA/HMI solutions.
• Prototype and evaluate new approaches; travel as needed.
