Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks an experienced OT Cyber Defense Specialist to protect its global manufacturing environment. Based in Midland, MI or Houston, TX, the role focuses on detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats targeting OT/ICS and industrial networks.

The candidate should bring deep OT engineering knowledge, strong threat hunting, forensics, and cross-functional collaboration skills to strengthen Dow's CSOC capabilities and OT security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience (E5 or Canadian rank) or 5 years relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of OT/ICS cybersecurity experience.
• Deep OT/IC technologies knowledge and industrial networks exposure.
• Ability to analyze complex risks and communicate to technical and business stakeholders.
• US work eligibility; no visa sponsorship offered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as OT SME for industrial control systems, networks, and associated risks.
• Develop OT-focused detection use cases and monitoring capabilities.
• Investigate security events in OT and enterprise environments; threat hunting and forensics.
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into defensive capabilities.
• Create detection content, playbooks, and incident response guidance.
• Collaborate on cross-functional cybersecurity projects to strengthen OT security.
• Mentor analysts to grow OT expertise within CSOC.
