Job summary
Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver in-facility therapy, implement treatment plans, and help patients regain independence. You will work under the Director of Rehab, supporting a patient-centered approach to rehabilitation across our services.
Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited OTA program, hold NBCOT certification or licensure eligibility, and are ready to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to restore patients’ function and
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
- Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with occupational therapy programs and activities to improve independence.
- Follow established recovery plans and document progress.
- Collaborate with rehab team to coordinate care and referrals.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care focused on restoring function.
