Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver in-facility therapy services, following established recovery plans and programs. You will help patients regain function and independence, applying compassionate, patient-centered care on a collaborative rehab team.

The role reports to the Director of Rehab and requires OTA program completion, NBCOT certification, and state licensure or eligibility. Full-time benefits and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
• Help patients get well and restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.
• Adapt to patient needs and collaborate with peers, referring to others when appropriate.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care with compassion and professionalism.

Education
