Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments in an in-facility setting. You will work under the Director of Rehab, addressing the whole patient to restore independence and function.

Ideal candidates have an accredited OTA program, NBCOT certification, and are licensed or eligible for licensure in their state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
• Help patients improve independence and functional abilities.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to coordinate patient care and referrals.
