Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-facility rehab team. You will implement occupational therapy programs, follow established recovery plans, and deliver treatments to patients to restore function.

This role requires a compassionate approach, collaboration with peers, and a focus on maximizing patient independence. Must be a graduate of an OTA program, NBCOT certified, and licensed or eligible for licensure in the state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per developed recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to patients and support progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with rehab team and refer as needed to ensure patient care.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach and document outcomes.
• Support reporting structure to the Director of Rehab and contribute to care planning.
