Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver patient-centered therapy in facility settings with guidance from the Director of Rehab.

The role requires graduation from an accredited OTA program, initial certification from NBCOT, and licensure or eligibility to practice in the state.

You will help patients regain independence, implement therapy plans, and collaborate with a team to support recovery across the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program (AOTA/ACOTE standards).
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence.

Education
