Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to help patients regain function in an in-facility setting, reporting to the Director of Rehab. You will implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments to restore independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
• You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.
• You execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence.
