Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver in-facility therapy services, executing OT programs and recovery plans to help patients regain independence. You will work under the Director of Rehab, contributing to a collaborative team focused on patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, adaptability to patient needs, and the drive to support optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients by implementing occupational therapy plans.
• Help restore and improve motor function and independence.
• Collaborate with rehab team to tailor therapy activities.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to support recovery.
