Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide in-facility therapies, following established recovery plans and delivering patient-centered care. You will work under the Director of Rehab and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help patients regain independence and function.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and dedication to improving patient outcomes across rehabilitation settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program (AOTA/ACOTE).
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy certification obtained.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in therapy programs and activities to restore, reinforce and enhance physical abilities and independence.
• Follow recovery plans and deliver occupational therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with a team and refer to others to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain patient-centered, compassionate care and support families as needed.
