Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat orthotics, managing patients of all ages. You will develop and adjust plans of care, document progress, and educate patients and families. Relocation assistance and sign-on bonuses are available for eligible candidates.

The role emphasizes safe transfers, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes in orthotic care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete continuing education for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Transfers with assistance when needed; use safe body mechanics.
• Treat and educate patients, families, and staff; maintain professional demeanor.
• Design and adjust care plans with goals, outcomes, and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and caregivers using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluate findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes of care.
• Complete examinations and documentation per policy.
