Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to create and modify orthotics and treat patients of all ages. You will evaluate, plan, and adjust care, educate patients and families, and document care in the EMR.

This role includes a sign-on bonus and potential relocation assistance for qualified candidates. New grads and experienced PTs are encouraged, with bonuses of $5,000 to $7,500 and relocation support for moves over 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (IDFPR) in Illinois.
• BLS within 30 days - AHA.
• Ability to educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Designs and modifies an orthotics-focused plan of care with goals and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers using effective teaching methods.
• Performs patient transfers with safe body mechanics and proper technique.
• Evaluates outcomes and adjusts treatment based on patient response.
• Documents care in the therapy EMR and maintains accurate records.
• Collaborates with staff and providers to optimize patient outcomes.
