Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) licensed in good standing (IDFPR).
• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association.
• Ongoing continuing education for stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe body mechanics during patient transfers.
• Provides compassionate, respectful patient care.
• Designs an appropriate plan of care with goals and discharge plan.
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Performs examinations using appropriate methods and history.
