Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to create and modify orthotics and treat patients of all ages. You will evaluate progress, design care plans, educate families, and document outcomes in the EMR. A sign-on bonus is offered plus relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

New grads with <1 year post-graduation experience and licensure may qualify for a $5,000 sign-on bonus, while candidates with >=1 year experience may receive $7,500. This role also offers relocation assistance if moving 50+ miles.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing
• BLS certification within 30 days
• Complete required continuing education for acute stroke care

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages; modify plan of care as needed
• Perform patient transfers with proper body mechanics
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers using effective teaching methods
• Document outcomes and discharge plans
• Coordinate care with referring providers and other staff
• Apply modalities and therapeutic techniques including tape, ultrasound, interference therapy, iontophoresis
• Maintain documentation in EMR and ensure accurate daily charging
