Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to create and modify orthotics and to evaluate and treat patients of all ages. The role includes developing a care plan, educating patients and families, documenting outcomes, and coordinating discharge planning.

New grads may qualify for a sign-on bonus of $5,000, while candidates with at least 1 year of experience can receive $7,500. Relocation assistance is also available for moving 50+ miles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Physical Therapy).
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) and active license in the relevant state.
• Current BLS certification and completion of required continuing education on acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all ages, developing and adjusting plan of care.
• Demonstrates safe patient handling, body mechanics and protects staff and patient safety.
• Educates patients and families, documents outcomes, and discharges plans.
