Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an orthotics-focused Physical Therapist to create and modify orthotics and provide comprehensive patient care across age groups. The role emphasizes evaluating progress, updating care plans, and educating patients and families to support recovery.

New grads may qualify for a $5,000 sign-on bonus; candidates with 1+ year of experience may receive $7,500 and relocation assistance is available for moves over 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing (IDFPR).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - AHA.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all ages, modifying plan of care as needed.
• Designs and implements an appropriate plan of care with goals, outcomes and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, families and staff using effective teaching methods.
• Performs examinations and determines physical therapy diagnoses and outcomes of care.
• Documents in the EMR as required by policy and regulation.
• Utilizes modalities and supports staff in delivering safe, evidence-based care.
