Job summary

Stryker Corporation invites ambitious students for a Field-based Intern, Ortho Sales role in the United States. You’ll shadow sales teams, assist with account development, and learn selling skills and instrument use under guidance.

Expect hands-on exposure to warehouse tasks, cross-team collaboration, and special projects in a dynamic medical devices environment. This internship offers a sign-on bonus, travel with a 40% travel percentage, paid holidays, and either corporate housing or a living

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in related field and plan to enroll after summer.
• Cumulative GPA 3.0 or above preferred.
• Must be a permanent resident of the U.S. or U.S. citizen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Versatility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated leadership and business acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to gain branch insight.
• Prepare a project segment to develop a target account list or marketing strategy.
• Learn selling skills and instrument use techniques with coaching support.
• Shadow and assist Team Members delivering kits to accounts.
• Assist in warehouse tasks and product preparation for surgeries.
• Interact with various teams concerning products.
• Assist Sales and Field Operations with special projects.
