Job summary

Stryker Corporation invites driven students for a Field-based Intern in Ortho Sales. You’ll shadow sales teams, develop target account insights, and learn selling skills while aiding in kit delivery and product preparation. Applicants should be pursuing a related bachelor's degree with a 3.0+ GPA, be a U.S. resident or citizen, and able to travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field and plan to enroll after summer.
• 3.0 GPA or above is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. permanent resident or citizen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Versatile, flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Proficient with MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Proven leadership and business acumen; able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Sales Associates and related teams to gain branch insight and prepare presentations.
• Develop a project segment for target accounts or marketing strategy.
• Learn selling skills and instrument use techniques with coaching support.
• Shadow and assist drivers with kit delivery to accounts.
• Assist warehouse in assembling/breaking down instrument kits and preparing products for surgery.
• Interact with various teams about products and projects.
