Health Plus Ortho Management / Advanced Orthopedics Sports Medicine in Freehold, NJ seeks an AR Billing and Collection Representative I. The role focuses on analyzing past due accounts and coordinating between third party payers and internal teams to recover overdue payments and resolve discrepancies.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30–5:00, with an on-site office in Freehold. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid holidays. Prior AR experience in healthcare is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in medical accounts receivable.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance billing required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and update AR accounts with minimal supervision to ensure timely resolution.
• Cross-train on back-office functions including posting, AR (Insurance & Patient collection), denial appeals, and adjustments.
• Maintain active phone lines to receive calls from patients or insurance companies.
• Check Navinet or payer websites for payment status and set follow-up on open balances.
