Job summary

Health Plus Ortho Management / Advanced Orthopedics Sports Medicine is seeking an AR Billing and Collection Representative I in Freehold, NJ. The role focuses on analyzing past-due accounts and coordinating with third-party payers and internal teams to recover overdue payments while minimizing financial risk.

Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5:00, and this is an on-site position at our Freehold office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in medical accounts receivable (AR).
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance billing.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and update all assigned AR accounts to ensure timely and appropriate resolution.
• Cross-trained on back-office functions including posting, AR, denial appeals, and Medicare accounts.
• Monitor payer payment statuses and follow up on open balances.
• Provide monthly updates on litigation accounts and closures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality as required by law and policy.
