Health Plus Ortho Management / Advanced Orthopedics Sports Medicine is seeking an AR Billing and Collection Representative I in Freehold, NJ. The role focuses on analyzing past-due accounts, coordinating with payers and internal teams, and recovering overdue payments to minimize financial risk.

The position requires strong familiarity with medical AR, payer policies, and Excel, and works Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM onsite in the New Jersey office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience in medical accounts receivable office.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance billing required.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Minimum High School Degree or GED equivalent.
• English.
• Knowledge in: Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and update all assigned AR accounts to ensure timely resolution according to payer guidelines.
• Cross-trained on back-office functions including AR, denial appeals, adjustments, and Medicare accounts.
• Answer billing questions clearly and politely; pull charts and files as needed to respond.
• Follow up on open balances; monitor Navinet and payer portals for payment status.
• Prepare monthly updates on litigation accounts and closures.
• Document account status and strategy to close claims; communicate denial trends timely.
