Job summary

Health Plus Ortho Management / Advanced Orthopedics Sports Medicine seeks an AR Billing and Collection Representative I to analyze past-due accounts and coordinate between payers and internal teams for timely resolution.

Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00, on-site at Freehold, NJ. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, and paid holidays. Prior experience in medical AR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience in medical accounts receivable.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance billing required.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Minimum High School Degree or GED.
• Proficient in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and update AR accounts to ensure timely solution and closure per payer guidelines.
• Cross-trained in back-office tasks including posting, denial appeals, and Medicare accounts.
• Maintain phone availability to handle patient and insurer inquiries.
• Provide monthly updates on litigation accounts and closures.
