Qualifications

• Four years of high school or equivalent with specialized courses and training.
• National third-party certification (AMCA, AAMA, AMT, CCMA, or NCMA) within 13 months.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
• BLS certification required; fluency in another language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform a variety of medical assisting duties in the assigned office.
• Assist providers with patient care and procedures; support clinic workflow.
• Use EMR and related software to update patient records while protecting privacy.
• Communicate test results and schedules to patients; provide appropriate counseling.
