Qualifications

• Four years of high school completion or equivalent with specialized courses.
• Must obtain national certification within 13 months of hire as a Medical Assistant.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with EMR and health-related software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and procedures.
• Support efficient patient flow through the clinic.
• Use EMR to update and access patient information while maintaining privacy.
• Provide medical interpretation when needed for non-English speaking patients.
