Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fall River, MA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support patient care in our outpatient clinic. This full-time role offers a 40-hour workweek, day shift, and a $3,500 new hire sign-on bonus.

You will assist providers, manage patient flow, document in EMR, and uphold patient privacy in a fast-paced, community-focused environment. Qualifications include completion of a Medical Assistant program, national certification within 13 months, BLS, and strong customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus specialized training.
• Certification within 13 months if not certified.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with EMR and health-related software preferred.
• 1 year of medical assisting experience preferred.
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccination required or exemption option.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Utilize EMR to update/access patient information.
• Facilitate efficient flow of patients through the clinic.
• Provide language interpretation when needed.
