Job summary

Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC (CAO) is seeking a driven Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, carrying out plans of care and documenting progress.

The position requires an accredited PTA program degree, state licensure, CPR certification, and comfort with EMR systems. Evening shifts and occasional Saturdays may be required to support clinic hours.

Qualifications

• PTA degree from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Experience and proficiency with computers and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care 100% of work time with documentation in medical records.
• Performs tests and measurements such as strength, ROM, and functional capacity.
• Administers treatment under supervision to decrease pain and improve function.
• Communicates progress with supervising Physical Therapist and updates treatment plan as directed.
• Keeps accurate documentation of treatments and CPT codes for billing purposes.
• Adheres to insurance guidelines and coordinates care with other providers.
• Participates in therapy team activities and clinic operations.
