Job summary

Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC (CAO) is seeking a Rehab Aide to support physical and occupational therapists and therapy assistants in patient treatment. Duties include assisting with modalities, setting up exercise equipment, and helping with front desk tasks such as scheduling and insurance verification.

Candidate must have a High School Diploma, CPR certification, proficiency with EMR systems, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with computers and EMR systems.
• CPR Certification for Healthcare Professionals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Windows-based office technologies.
• Reads/writes/speaks English.
• Ability to work independently.

• Participation in Rehab Aide training and proficiency exam.

Responsibilities

• Assists therapists with treatment of non-Medicare patients under direct supervision.
• Cleans plinths and equipment to maintain cleanliness.
• Adheres to varied work schedules including early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.
• Assists with laundry and maintaining towels and gowns.
• Performs front desk duties: answering phones, scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification.
• Attends monthly clinic staff meetings or obtains agenda copies from management.
• Supports smooth clinic operation and coverage at CAO locations as needed.
• Participates in Therapy team meetings, webinars, and trainings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
