Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an LPN to join the NT4 Ortho-Urology Surgical Unit in Memphis. You will assist with medication administration, IV therapies, and patient care on a 41-bed unit with a 1:4–6 nurse–patient ratio and collaborative therapy support.

The role emphasizes rapid throughput, acute ortho/urology post-surgical care, and adherence to DNV Hip/Knee standards with a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with valid IDFPR license.
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Passes all medications, hangs IV piggybacks and fluids, excluding IV Push meds.
• Charts assessments on assigned patients after the RN's initial assessment.
• Communicates with physicians/APPs to receive orders and coordinate care.
• Complete trach care, NG tube care, and ostomy care as needed.
