Job summary

Smith & Nephew in Buffalo, NY seeks a Reconstruction Sales Representative to serve as a technical consultant in orthopedic joint reconstruction. You will convert physicians/accounts by making sales calls, provide clinical case coverage in the OR, and train surgeons on Smith & Nephew products in your territory.

The role requires building relationships with surgeons and hospital staff, developing a territory business plan, and collaborating across divisions to promote awareness of the CORI robotic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum two years sales experience in medical device industry preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience, specifically selling orthopedic products preferred.
• Proven track record selling/converting business at the surgeon or hospital level.
• Experience leading/mentoring team members and new sales representatives.

Responsibilities

• Convert physicians/accounts by making sales calls and providing clinical case coverage in the operating room, while training surgeons on Smith+Neu products in the territory.
• Collaborate with surgeons, hospitals, OR staff, SPD, administration and researchers to drive adoption and awareness of products including the CORI robotic system.
• Travel within designated territory; 2–4 overnights per month; infrequent national travel for events and conferences.
