Job summary

Smith+Nephew is seeking a Reconstruction Sales Representative for the Sarasota/Bradenton area to educate and train surgeons while driving product adoption in total joint reconstruction. The role focuses on clinical case coverage, in-OR education, and strategic engagement with hospitals, OR staff, and physicians.

The candidate will build strong relationships with surgeons and hospital leadership, develop territory plans, and drive revenue growth in orthopaedic joint reconstruction, including CORI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years sales experience in the medical device industry preferred.
• Preferred experience selling orthopedic products in the healthcare industry.
• Proven track record selling and converting business at the surgeon or hospital level.
• Experience leading or mentoring team members and new sales representatives.

Responsibilities

• Convert physicians/accounts by making sales calls and providing clinical case coverage in the operating room while training surgeons on Smith+Nephew products through education and programs within your territory.
• Work collaboratively with podiatric and orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, OR staff, sterile processing department, administration, clinicians, and researchers.
• Increase awareness and adoption of products, including the CORI robotic surgical & navigation system.
