Job summary

CHC Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Health Care Customer Service Specialist for the Orthopedics team in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

You will handle order intake by phone or fax, verify information for billing, and coordinate with doctors, therapists, and staff to ensure timely delivery of prescribed medical supplies. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, professional communication with patients and providers, and collaboration with the orthopedic team to manage order status.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in health care is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to manage time and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working independently within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders by phone or fax and obtain all information needed to process orders.
• Enter customer demographics and order into the computer system for billing.
• Follow physician/protocol when entering orders into the system.
• Contact customers to inform them of order status and procedures.
• Note all correspondence with customers, doctors or therapists.
• Prioritize urgent or emergency orders and print the care plan with documentation.
• Interact with orthopedic team members to assist patients with order status.
