• Schedule, coordinate, and reschedule patient appointments to optimize physician times.
• Verify patients' insurance eligibility and collect co-pays.
• Answer multi-line phones, route faxes and documents, and handle patient files including X-rays.
• Direct patients to imaging, hand center, physical therapy, or other services as needed.
• Assist patients with special needs such as wheelchairs; maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Perform other duties to support operational needs.
