Job summary

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance policies are active and registered for scheduled DOS.
• Update patient insurance information including copayments.
• Notify patients of issues with insurance verification or cash rates.
• Obtain and secure authorizations for visits and treatments.
• Coordinate referrals and link to upcoming appointments.
• Follow up on submitted requests within 7–14 days.
• Notify staff and patients of treatment denials and schedule follow-ups.
• Assist with scheduling/rescheduling based on authorization issues.
