Southeast Orthopedic Specialists is hiring a Front Office Representative for our Riverside Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time role focuses on patient reception, scheduling, and accurate data collection while delivering high-quality customer service.

The ideal candidate will handle insurance verification, collect payments, and maintain confidentiality in a busy medical office environment. A comprehensive benefits package is provided to full-time employees.

Formación

• Prior front office or medical reception experience preferred.
• Ability to collect and verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accuracy in data entry.
• Demonstrate professionalism in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients in a courteous, professional manner.
• Instruct patients to complete medical history and information forms and correct any errors in accounts.
• Collect demographic, insurance information, and financial consent on patient paperwork; verify data.
• Collect co-pays and past-due balances; explain billing and insurance requirements to patients.
• Review and verify insurance coverage and benefits; alert patients to any coverage issues.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate authorizations or referrals when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of accepted insurance plans and ensure secure cash handling and daily balancing.
