Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• 1 year of experience in a medical setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Check in patients, provide status updates, answer phones.
• Interview patients to collect name, address, age, emergency contacts, attending physician, and responsible party for payment.
• Verify, update, and scan patient information in the EMR.
• Oversee patient tracking in EMR, collect co-pays and ensure form completion.
• Complete patient check-out, collect outstanding balances, and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Enter admitting information and ensure payments are collected.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and FLSA requirements.
