Job summary

Franklin Medical Center is seeking a Receptionist for the Orthopedic Clinic to greet patients, collect information, and schedule appointments. Under the Orthopedic Clinic Manager’s direction, you will admit patients and ensure accurate data entry according to clinic policies.

The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and basic computer skills. Prior clerical experience and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years clerical experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with medical terminology and office software.

Responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls.
• Schedule appointments for physicians and follow-up visits.
• Record messages and forward to proper staff.
• Enter and maintain patient information in the computer system.
• Collect patient co-pays and maintain records.
• Assist with scanning documents (lab, x-rays, etc.).
