Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics in Bloomfield, NJ is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to support the orthopedic department with administrative and clinical tasks, acting as a liaison between patients and providers to coordinate care plans, follow up, and monitor progress. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

A Bachelor's degree and prior clinical/administrative experience are desirable; on-site, full-time position

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in clinical or administrative role in orthopedics desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and HIPAA privacy rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the orthopedic clinic, including patient intake and medical record maintenance.
• Liaise between patients, providers, and departments to facilitate communication.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation is complete for providers.
• Navigate EMR (CareCloud) to locate documents and assist with patient notes and rare billing tasks.
• Coordinate with external facilities such as imaging centers and physical therapy clinics.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, audits, and data collection.
