Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks a Clinical Sales Specialist to support the Houston, TX territory. You will guide surgeons in the operating room, ensure equipment availability, and drive DPS sales while coordinating with hospital staff and cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with a background in orthopedics or medical devices. Willingness to travel and develop relationships with surgeons and healthcare systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or
• Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with minimum 2 years of relevant experience or
• Minimum of 4 years of professional/relevant experience or
• Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty

Responsibilities

• Independently guide and assist surgeons in the operating room by providing clinical and technical support of orthopedic surgical cases.
• Advance DPS sales by serving as sole Company representative to provide direct customer support by attending surgeries and ensuring proper equipment is available and functioning.
• Troubleshoot and respond to physician needs; manage hospital billing, purchase orders, logistics, and asset management.
• Share customer, procedural and marketplace insights with cross-functional teams to improve solutions and services and support sales growth.
• Provide Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department consultation.
• Maintain and deploy equipment and assets to ensure product availability.
• Ensure promotional materials are current and DePuy Synthes offerings meet quality standards.
• Provide logistical support by moving instruments, implants, and equipment between sales reps and hospitals.
