Job summary

Southern Orthodontic Partners is seeking an experienced Orthodontic Scheduling Coordinator for a fast-paced front desk role in our dental practice. This full-time position offers $18–$20 per hour and an opportunity to ensure smooth patient flow and positive experiences in our orthodontic setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of dental front office experience and familiarity with Dentrix, Eaglesoft or Open Dental.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of front office experience in dental/orthodontic settings.
• Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or Open Dental.
• Experience with insurance verification, patient scheduling and dental office workflows.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in orthodontic patients with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling and appointment questions.
• Maintain an efficient provider schedule and help reduce gaps in the daily schedule.
• Process patient payments and assist with insurance verification and benefits questions.
• Coordinate communication between patients, doctor, and clinical team.
